Domestic Tied Up
A domestic worker was dragged from the cottage kitchen to the main house during a robbery in Talisman Avenue, Oriel, Bedfordview on Wednesday, August 18 at 12:35pm.
Bedfordview SAPS communication office, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, said that a domestic worked was cooking in the kitchen when five men approached her, one of them was pointing a gun at her.
"They dragged her into the main house and asked her where the owners were.
'When she told them that they were not home, they demanded the house keys, the safe keys and guns.
"When she told them that she did not know where they are kept, the men tied her up," he said.
He added that one man was left guarding the domestic worker while the other men ransacked the house.
He added that the men loaded computers and other items from the house into a white Toyota Quantam that was parked on the street outside the gate.
