Offrice staff held up
A receptionist told her boss about three suspicious men approaching the building then locked herself in her boss' office during a robbery on Sam Green Road on Tuesday, August 3 at 1:40pm.
Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi said that the receptionist saw the men and went to tell her boss about them.
"When he went to check on them, two of them pointed firearms at him, demanding that he kneel down. The receptionist went back to the boss' office and locked herself in. The other two women who entered the building were ordered to kneel," he said.
He added that one man was left with the boss and the two women while the other searched other offices in the building.
Sgt Nhlabathi said that the men fled with laptops, cellular phones and wristwatches.
