Woman tied up with cables
A woman was tied up with electrical cable during a robbery at her home at Bankasia Avenue, Bedfordview on August 2 at 7pm.
Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, said that the woman was walking along the passage of her house when she noticed two men with firearms in their hands approaching her from the lounge.
"They ordered her to lie down and tied her hands with an electrical cable. They then demanded her to take them to the safe. When they arrived at the safe they untied her to enter the code again." he said.
Sgt Nhlabathi said that the men fled with jewellery, firearms, credit cards and an undisclose amount of money.
