Man nabbed for allegdly kiling his wife
A man accused of killing his wife was arrested in Hillbrow, Johannesburg on Friday, police said.
The 46-year-old Zimbabwean had a row with his wife, 36, also from Zimbabwe, in the early morning hours, Captain Bhekizizwe Mavundla said.
She fell from the third floor of the Parma Court apartment block on the corner of Caroline and Quartz streets. She was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died on arrival.
Other people were in the flat at the time, but apparently nobody saw whether the woman jumped or was pushed, Mavundla said.
Her husband was arrested on Friday afternoon. He would appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates' Court on Monday on a murder charge. - Sapa
