We advertise for our clients through banner adverts. We have a few options and sizes available.
What does it cost?
Crime Aware offers unique exposure to a growing user base of security conscious South Africans.
Impressions
Booking of a banner on the amount of times the banner is viewed. This is called impressions. Each time a page is loaded with your banner on it, its counted as an impression as the banner has been viewed and an impression has been made.
Our rates are as follows:
Left Banner - R0.10c per impression
Mid Banner- R0.10c per impression
Right (tall) Banner (premium banner) - R0.15c per impression
Minimum booking of 10,000 impressions.
Banners will display live until their banner booking limit has been reached.
Design Service
We can design your banners for you at a flat rate of R550 ex VAT per banner (for animated GIF or JPG banners). We have a team of designers who can ensure your banner is designed for the best results.

If you have banners designed, you may supply your banners to us as animated GIF or JPG format, with the following specs:
Banner Specifications:
Left Banner - 468x60px - under 32kb
Mid Banner - 330x120px - - under 32kb
Right (tall) Banner - 160x600 - under 45kb

What types of banners do you have?
We can present GIF, JPG or FLASH banners. We have 3 sizes available.
All our banners rotate on each page load to display as many as we can.
1. Left Rotating Banner (468x60)
This banner runs in the left column and is the standard common banner size of 468x60px. Our banners rotate, meaning that other advertisers may also be booked in that position, and on each page load the banners will alternate. As this is a standard banner size, this would most likely suit many advertisers who already have a banner to be used readily. The banner can be GIF, JPG and FLASH. Banner size must be below 50kb.
2. Mid Rotating Banner (330x120)
This banner runs in the middle column and is an unusual size. But the rectangle format may suit certain adverts better. Our banners rotate, meaning that other advertisers may also be booked in that position, and on each page load the banners will alternate. The banner can be GIF, JPG and FLASH. Banner size must be below 40kb.
3. Right Rotating Banner (160x600)
This banner runs in the right column and is standard skyscrper banner size. Our banners rotate, meaning that other advertisers may also be booked in that position, and on each page load the banners will alternate. This banner commands the most attention on the page and as such is the most expensive banner. The banner can be GIF, JPG and FLASH. Banner size must be below 60kb.
